Gateway of Tally → Display More Reports → List of Accounts → Export (Alt+E) → Format: XML. One file, with GSTIN, state and phone on the ledgers, and HSN, unit and rate on the stock items.
The trap
That file contains your bank accounts, your suppliers and your expense heads too. Import all of it and your customer list has "HDFC Bank Current A/c" in it.
The number that matters
Eight ledgers scanned and six customers found means two things were correctly left out. Eight and eight would be the answer to be suspicious of.
Untidy data
A GSTIN that does not match the expected shape should be dropped, not stored. A wrong GSTIN is more dangerous than an empty one, because it is what decides the tax split on a bill.
